Abel Marquez

Abel Marquez, 16, passes away at 5:30am Wednesday, November 29, 2017 in his residence, surrounded by his family. Abel was born on October 6, 2001 in Atlanta, Georgia to Abel Gonzalez and Juanita Marquez, they survives along with a sister Alondra Gonzalez, a brother Bryan Marquez, maternal grandparents Maria Concepcion Murillo and Arcodio De LaRosa, aunts Mercedes Marquez and Estela Marquez, cousins Jatziry Cruz, Christopher Cruz, Luis Cruz, Arnolfo Gonzalez, Jorge Carillo, Elizabeth Carillo, Maria Carillo and Javier Carillo, as well as other aunts, uncles and cousins. Abel was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Maria Cruz Pulido and Fidel Gonzalez. Abel attended McKinley and Edison schools, loved listening to Catholic Hymns and will be deeply missed by his family. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12:00pm Monday, December 4, 2017 in Our Lady of Hungary Church. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 3-6 Sunday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue where a rosary will be recited at 5:30pm.
