Anthony Brahlick, Jr., 91, passed away at 5:51pm, Thursday, June 16, 2016 in Settlers Place, LaPorte. Anthony was born on December 20, 1924 in South Bend to Anton and Anna (Prainer) Brahlick. He was employed by South Bend Lathe, then owned Universal Athletic Equipment and also worked for The Dugout after retiring from Universal. He was a World War II Army veteran and a graduate of Purdue University and The Thunderbird School of Global Management. On October 28, 1965 he married the former Helen Rippe. She died on March 3, 2013. Tony was also preceded in death by a stepson Robert Hoag and sister Dorothy Nagy. Surviving are two sisters Nancy (William J.) Gast of Baroda, MI and Vivian Dare of LaPorte, IN, several step-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday, June 21, 2016 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Entombment with military services will follow in Riverview Cemetery.
