Irma A. (Horvath) Morris

Irma A. Morris, 89, passed away at 8:10am Sunday, November 6, 2016 peacefully at home. She was born on April 22, 1927 in South Bend to Michael and Agnes (Fodor) Horvath. On May 29, 1947 Irma married Frank Morris who preceded her in death in November 1994. Survivors include her daughter Susan (Terrence) Cernech of Springfield, MO, son David Morris and daughter Debra Morris both of Mishawaka, 4 grandchildren Brett (Jamie) Cernech of Olathe, KS, Kyle Cernech of Prairie Village, KS, Bethany (Robert) Kesler of Fishers, IN and Tyler Morris of Osceola, 4 great-grandchildren Alivia and Luke Cernech and Nolan and Serena Kesler, a brother Louis Horvath along with many nieces and nephews. Preceding Irma in death were a son Frank Allen Morris and 10 siblings Rose Horvath, Helen Borntrager, Elizabeth Wilson, Margaret Davis, Irene Robakowski, Mary Eazsol, Michael Horvath, John Horvath, Joseph Horvath, and John Horvath. Irma was a member of St. John the Baptist Church, the Hoosier Grandmothers Club and ZB Falcons, she retired from Sample Kit after 22 years. Memorial services will be celebrated at 10:30am Saturday, November 12, 2016 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Burial of her cremated remains will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Family and friends may gather from 9:30 until services in the funeral home.
