Linda P. Paar-Welcome

Linda P. Paar-Welcome passed away of natural causes on Saturday morning, March 10, 2018 in her home. Her sister Doris was by her side. Linda was born on June 12, 1949 to Robert and Delores (Arndt) Paar in South Bend, IN.Preceding her in death are her parents and brothers Bob Paar and Jim Paar.She is survived by a son, Jim Adams of Kensington, MD, step-son Jason (Michelle) Ingram of Urbana, MD, granddaughters Emma and Grace Ingram, sister Doris Paar and sister-in-law Linda Paar both of South Bend, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.Linda graduated from Riley High School, class of 1967, Indiana University-Bloomington BFA, 1974 and Indiana State University MS-Economics, 1979.Linda moved to Maryland in 1980 where she started her interior design business, "Welcome Interiors." Linda also hosted a radio spot from 1986-1988 in Maryland which highlighted interior design concepts.Linda had an artistic heart. In her younger years she did jewelry design in which she produced many interesting pieces and paintings in water colors. Later her passion became "antiquing" and always a good party with friends and family.Cremation has taken place.
