Philip K. Hansen, 83, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross.Philip was born on December 8, 1934 in Bronx, New York to Harold and Cecilia (Frasch) Hansen. He was a U.S. Marine during the Korean War. He then graduated from the University of Notre Dame where he played 2nd base for the baseball team. Phil then was a real estate attorney for 46 years. On December 13, 1975 he married Mary Ann Lako. She preceded him in death along with a step-daughter Sharon Ladonski.Surviving are a sister Harriet Hansen of Hartsdale, NY, brother-in-law John (Glenda) Pozsgai of South Bend and 4 sisters-in-law Erma Salay, Helen Pozsgai, Barbara (Michael) Norris and Elizabeth Delchambre all of South Bend.Per Philips wishes, cremation has taken place.
