Steve O. Lako, 72, passed away at 9:35pm Friday, July 8, 2016 in the Golden Living Center. Steve was born on June 4, 1944 in Ironwood, MI to Frank and Mary (Rajkovich Lako, Sr. He was employed by Goodwill Industries and the Medford Corporation and was a U.S. Army veteran. Steve was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Betty Buti and two brothers Frank "Gus" Lako, Jr. and Paul Lako. Surviving are four sisters Veronica (William) Rose, Linda (Ronald) Brown and Christine (Michael) Dobrzykowski all of South Bend and Mary (Tom) Lako of Vandalia, MI and a brother Michael (Kay) Lako of Mishawaka. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Wednesday, July 13, 2016 in Our Lady of Hungary Church. Entombment will take place in Hillcrest Memorial Park, Medford, OR. Family and friends may call from 4-8 Tuesday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.
