Thomas A. Schweiger

Tom Schweiger died unexpectedly and peacefully on November 9, 2017 in his residence that he shared with his sister. Tom was born on January 2, 1946 to Louie and Joan (Hedl) Schweiger. He graduated from Our Lady of Hungary Grammar School having been brought up in the Roman Catholic tradition. He is also a graduate of St. Josephs High School in 1964 and attended I.U.S.B. In his early adult years he enjoyed work, friends and creative writing classes in Northern California. He was a bright and intelligent soul who assisted others in their academic pursuits; he, himself loved books and reading. We who are left behind, thank him for his love and caring and he would like it to be mentioned the support, caring and friendship of Cindy McClure and Brenda Chupp. He leaves behind cousins of the Hedl and Schweiger families and his "Big Sis" Joan Schweiger, his friends and relatives of Austrian Croatian decent and we cannot forget his friends and acquaintances (the walkers) at the Trinity Free Evangelical Church walking track. According to Toms wishes, there will be no visitation, cremation has taken place. A Memorial Service will be celebrated at 11:30am Friday, November 17, 2017 in Sacred Heart Cemetery.
