Dear Bob, John and family, Agnes was a familiar face from the Slavish Club or St Anthony's Society where she was very active. She was usually the president of the ladies club and my Mom was usually secretary so they cooperated on developing many events. At the club good food was always happening and I recall Agnes working hard in the kitchen. She seemed to be so sweet and have an even personality. She and the other ladies left us a legacy of memories of the language, the character and the foods of our heritage. I am eternally grateful for this wonderful gift.
