Daniel Pierce Obituary

SOUTH BEND Daniel E. Pierce 65, passed on Tuesday September18, 2018 at home surrounded by his family. Dan was born on January 12, 1953 in Mishawaka to Claude and Evelyn (Veevaete) Pierce. On April 7, 1973 he married Virginia Creswell who survives along with his daughter Jackie Woltman, grandchildren Zachary, Kollin and Lauren Woltman all of South Bend, his parents and 3 sisters Betty (Randy) Morris of Granger, Sheryl (Bruce) Weber of North Liberty and Claudette (Bob) Greco of Fishers, IN. He was preceded in death by a daughter Tammie Pierce and a brother Edward "Norby" Pierce.Dan retired from McCormick Flavor Division, drove a school bus for the South Bend Community School Corp. and St. John the Baptist School. He enjoy Green Bay Packers football, Notre Dame football, Indiana University basketball and especially the company of his grandchildren.Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday, September 22, 2018 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Friends may gather from 4-8 Friday and from 10am until services Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
