Donna J. (D'Angelo) Aldridge

Donna J. Aldridge, 59, passed away peacefully on March 13th, in Texas at her daughters residence. Donna was born in South Bend to Patrick F. and Juanita A. DAngelo, who preceded her in death. Her brother, Patrick F. DAngelo Jr., whom she loved and cared for during his illness, also preceded her in death in 2015. In 1978, Donna married Robert E. Aldridge in South Bend, IN and remained close to him until her passing. Survivors include her son, Robert E. Aldridge Jr. (Allison) , her daughter, Angela M. Humphrey (Kevin), a sister Diana L. DAngelo (Randy Martz), nephew Patrick C. DAngelo (Amanda) and her cherished grandchildren Riley Humphrey and Kevin Humphrey (KJ). She was also anxiously awaiting the birth of her next granddaughter in June, and she leaves many loving family members and friends who will miss her dearly. As a young child, Donna attended Our Lady of Hungary School with her brother and sister, and graduated from Riley High School. She also studied in Chicago IL and became a certified technician for Sears & Roebuck. Donna enjoyed taking care of her family and had a passion for sewing. Our lives have been truly blessed with the time that we had her, and she will be in our hearts until we are together again. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday, March 20, 2017 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Family and friends will gather from 4-7 Sunday in the funeral home.
