Dorothy E. (Carroll) Weisser

Dorothy E. Weisser, 98, passed away at 1:15pm Thursday, May 18, 2017 in her residence. Dorothy was born on April 23, 1919 in Northcote, MN to Daniel and Matilda (Peters) Carroll. She was a member or Our Lady of Hungary Church, its St. Ann Society and Harvest House. Dorothy also spent many hours helping in the kitchen at Our Lady of Hungary and St. Hedwig Churches. On September 2, 1946 in South Bend she married Emil J. Weisser. He died on January 15, 1980. Dorothy was also preceded by a sister Margaret and a brother Melvin. Surviving are two sons Jerry Weisser and Michael (Lisa) Weisser both of South Bend, a grandson Brandan Weisser and sister Patricia (Myron) Peterson of Lancaster, MN. The family would like to extend special thanks to her caregiver, Linda, for everything she did for Dorothy and her family. Private services will be held with burial in Highland Cemetery. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at a later date.
