Joyce M. (Lukavich) Sarvari

Joyce M. Sarvari, 81, passed away at 12:51pm Friday, March 17, 2017 in Memorial Hospital. Joyce was born on February 20, 1936 in Chicago to John and Sally (Nowicki) Lukavich. They preceded her in death along with her spouse Carson L. Sarvari, two sons Steven Sarvari (at birth) and Timothy L. (Sue) Sarvari, a grandson Carson C. Sarvari and a sister Nancy Kaelber. Joyce was employed by Montgomery Ward, The Associates Financial, and The South Bend Community School Corporation. Surviving are a daughter Margo (Sandro) Sarvari of Miami, FL, two sons Carson "Kit: (Connie) Sarvari of South Bend and Philip (Wendy) Sarvari of Mishawaka, seven grandchildren Timothy, Amanda, Matthew, Ryan, Lindsay, Kara, Marcello, seven great-grandchildren Trenton, Braelynn, Bryston, Phillip, Lailah, Timothy, and Jaxson, and a sister Frances (Dave) Andrysiak of South Bend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00am Tuesday, March 21, 2017 in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church, 829 W. Calvert Street, South Bend, Indiana 46613, which was her alma mater. Family and friends will gather one half hour prior to mass in the church. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
