South Bend - Richard P. Carruthers II, 58 passed away on Monday, November 19, 2018Rich was born April 21, 1960 in Plainwell, MI to Richard and Darlene (Sullivan) Carruthers. He was a boiler engineer who was employed by Franciscan Health. Rich also served his country in the United States Navy. He enjoyed riding Harley Davidson motorcycles. He was an avid football fan who watched anyone play but his favorite teams were the Lions, Tigers, Michigan and Notre Dame. Most of all he was a devoted father who loved his daughters.Surviving are his ex-wife Patricia (Egyhazi) Carruthers, daughters Taia Hassing, Cash and Cali Carruthers, his father Richard Carruthers, his sister Danni, brother John, also several nieces and nephews.
