Also left to cherish his memory are Aunt Pam Waidner, Uncle Ritchie & Aunt Noreen Schock, Aunt Evie & Uncle Bud Higginbothom & many extended family and friends.

Steve was raised into the business of antiquing at a young age, taking upon the family business. His love for antiques and oddities followed him all throughout life. He was a jack of all trades and tried to fix just about anything or at least giving it his best. At a young age, Steve found another love, a love for baseball as early as eight-years old. Steve started baseball at South Side Little League, He played through his teen years, and eventually coached South Side Little League baseball with his son for ten years winning many awards.

In his spare time, Steve enjoyed fishing regularly, shooting pool winning 2006 Marroni’s Pool League Championship & watching Chicago Cubs win the World Series was his dream come true. Recently, Steve took up a hobby in wood carving, following in his family footsteps.

Friends and family remember him as a man of bright energy, a loud presence, the life of the party and a man who welcomed anyone with open arms.
