Anna R. (Szucsits) Klute

Anna R. Klute, 90, passed away at 10:45am in Tanglewood Trace.

Anna was born on August 30, 1932 in South Bend to Josef and Rozalia (Blaudek) Szucsits.  She was employed by Indiana Bell as an operator.  Anna was a member of St. John the Baptist Church where she participated in many activities, including Fish Fry’s, Home & School and Room Mother.  She enjoyed baking, sewing, bingo and Christmas and was an avid Notre Dame fan.

On June 8, 1957 she married Melvin Klute.  He died on October 4, 2015.  Anna was also preceded in death by her son Kurt Klute who died two days prior to her passing, and a sister Mary Molnar and a brother Joseph Szucsits.

Surviving are three daughters Kim (Mike) Jacoby, Karrie (Tom) Bland and Kelly (Corina) Klute and a son Kip (Mary) Klute, six grandchildren Andrew, Kory, Marcus, Zackary, Michael, and Kole, and three great-grandchildren Kalub, Laihlee, and Zeti.

Friends may gather from 10am – 12pm Saturday, September 24, 2022 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. A combined service with her son will take place at 12:00pm.  Memorial contributions may be made to Promedica Hospice, 230 W.
