Athenia Porter, 59, passed away at 1:35pm Friday, January 12, 2024 in Raclin House, Center for Hospice.
Athenia was born on February 26, 1964 in Angola, IN to Gene and Delores (Ridenhour) Porter. They preceded her in death along with a brother David Porter and her in-laws Vivian McKee, James McKee and Joyce McKee.
Surviving are a daughter Natosha (Jeremy) Blevins, three sons Branden Cook, Nicholas (Chelsea Hale) Cook and Timothy Cook, three sisters Diana Porter, Connie Porter and Kimberly Christlieb, a brother Charles Porter, the father of her children Gregory Cook and numerous fur grandbabies.
Athenia loved to crochet, cross stitch, diamond paint, movies, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.
Cremation has taken place. A private family gathering with take place on Saturday, January 20, 2024. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph County Humane Society.
