Audrey R. (Dreibelbis) Palkowitch

Audrey Palkowitch, 85,  passed away at 4:00am Monday, January 1, 2024 in Northwoods Village.

Audrey was born on January 26, 1938 in Mishawaka to Max and Etta (Smith) Dreibelbis.  On July 21, 1959 she married Joseph F. Palkowitch Sr.  He died on November 12, 2018.  Audrey was also preceded in death by a grandson Justin and a sister Carol Kimsey and a brother John Dreibelbis.

Surviving are 4 daughters Debra McIntyre of Buchanan, MI, Penny Burnham of South Bend, Audrey (Chris) Guzowski of Merritt Island, FL and Dina (Stacy) Nicodemus of South Bend, a son Joseph (Debra) Palkowitch Jr. of Granger, 7 grandchildren Kris,  Jeremy, Nichole, Ashley, Shelly, Joseph III and Heather, 16 great-grandchildren and a sister Kay Large.

Viewing will take place on Saturday, January 6, 2024 from 9:30am to 11:30am in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  Funeral services will follow with burial in Highland Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.  To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at www.zahoran.com.
