Bradley H. Mayberry, 81, passed away at 6:19pm Saturday, March 26, 2022 in the Center for Hospice Care.
Brad was born on July 20, 1940 in Gary, IN to Hubert and Lorene (Harrison) Mayberry. He is survived by his loving wife Joyce (Benzur) Mayberry, beloved stepson Jason (Kym) Bango, grandsons Adam Sharpe and Kevin Bango and granddaughter Cadence “Cady Bug” Bango, son Bradley “Scott” (Susan) Mayberry, grandson Benjamin Mayberry, sister Virginia (Richard) Mangel of Colorado Springs, CO, sister Patricia Uhter and nephew Jeff Uhter of Norman, OK. He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews living throughout the United States. His list of friends is too numerous to list, Brad met you once and you became family. He knew no enemies.
Brad was preceded in death by his parents, his special brother-in-law, David Uhter and beloved niece Lorene Uhter.
Brad graduated from Crown Point High School in 1958. He entered the United States Navy in 1959 and later transferred to the United States Army, retiring with 24 years of service in 1983. He also retired from Indiana Bell Telephone Company in 1991 and was a 32nd degree Mason.
Brad and Joyce loved to travel and spent many years in their RV, traveling to many memorable places. Brad was dearly loved by all and will be missed.
