Chester L. McCoy

Chester L. McCoy, 84, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2026 in his residence.

Chester was born on February 9, 1942 in South Bend to William and Frances (Rugulski) McCoy.  They preceded him in death along with a his wife Joyce (Divens), a sister Grace Banicki and a brother William McCoy.

Surviving are a daughter Tammy (Troy) Weatherspoon, a son Thomas (Melissa) McCoy, 5 grandchildren Tony (Danielle) Cundiff, Bud (Ashley) McCoy, Eric Crittendon Jr., Jayla Weatherspoon, and Tiana Weatherspoon, and 7 great-grandchildren Jett, Carl, Jersey, Camille, Jensynn, Jentri, and Jeter.

The family would like to extend special thanks to Carolyn Gliszczynski for her care of Chet.  He enjoyed bowling and softball in his younger years.
