Cyrille Gilman (Cherniak) McClure

Cyrille McClure, 96, passed away at 7:36pm Saturday, April 19, 2025 in Memorial Hospital.

Cyrille was born on May 8, 1928 in Windsor Ontario, Canada to Isadore and Sarah (Lunenfeld) Cherniak.  They preceded her in death along with two husbands Arnold Gilman and William McClure, a sister Esther Wallach and a brother William Cherniak.

Surviving are two daughters Debra (Mike) Schwartz and Judith Gilman, a special adopted daughter Laurie Booker, two grandchildren Marcus (Katie) Paternoster and Andrea Paternoster as well as numerous step-children, step-grandchildren, and step-great-grandchildren.

Cyrille enjoyed mahjong, gin rummy and chatting with everyone she met.  She was always smiling and made many friends along her life journey.

Burial of her remains will take place in Florida National Cemetery, Bushnell, Florida.   Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.   To leave an online condolence, please visit www.zahoran.com.
