Dorothy Lorella Balish, 90, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025 in her residence, surrounded by her family. Dorothy was born on June 6m 1935 in Mishawaka to Glenn and Lamoile (Scheiber) Bordner. On December 13, 1952 she married John Balish Jr. He died on March 14, 2009. Dorothy was also preceded in death by a daughter Laura Farnsworth, a son Michael Balish, 10 brothers and sisters and a son-in-law Bill Simmons. Surviving are two daughters Karen Simmons and Kathleen Peters, a son Bill (Andrea) Balish, 8 grandchildren Joshua Simmons, Patrick Simmons, Jason Farnsworth, Heather Balish, Tommy Warren, Chelsea Warren, Mark Warren, and Sarah Warren, 10 great-grandchildren, two brothers Tom Bordner and Paul Bordner and a son-in-law Lewis Farnsworth. Dorothy loved flowers, butterflies and cats.Cremation has taken place, no services are scheduled at this time.
