Eric Guadalupe Garcia-Simental, 17, passed away unexpectedly, Tuesday, January 28, 2020 in his home.Eric was born on April 5, 2002 in South Bend to Margarito Garcia and Erika Simental. He was a senior at John Adams High School and was in the Book Club and Anime Club.Surviving are his parents, paternal grandparents Jose Guadalupe Garcia and Maria Concepcion Garcia, 5 brothers Michael (Brandi) Simental, Margaro (Rose Prewit) Simental Jr., Angel (Stephanie Tallman) Garcia-Simental, Juan Garcia-Simental and Alexander Garcia-Simental. Also surviving are his nephews Santiago Simental, Felix Simental, Maximillion Simental, Ethan Simental, Jeremiah Simental and Josiah Lockwood, uncles Manuel (Angelica) Garcia, Martin Garcia, Guadalupe Garcia, Arturo (Erin) Garcia, and Jose (Brisa) Simental, and aunts Morayma Simental, Karina Simental, Marta (Vicente) Garcia, Ana (Francisco) Garcia, Soledad (Jesus) Garcia, Cruz (Rogaciano) Garcia and Miriam (Crystal) Garcia, and cousins Luis Ricardo, Braulio, Makayla, Tyler, Esgar, Cecilia, Oscar, Sandra, Yesenia, Rebecca, Arturito, Liliana, Christian, Jose Luis Jr., Ariadna, Javier, Eduardo, David, Adam, Analy, Amber, Brenda, Crystal, Jessica, Lucero, Jose and Rogarciano and close friends Damon Spencer, Georgie Guevara, Ciara Robinson, Mykaila Guevara, Ayana Guevara, Catalea Guevara, Natalie Guevara, Emerie Guevara, David Vite, Sylvia Cant Guevara, Leslie Garcia, Juanita, Jorge Guevara Sr., Jorge Guevara Jr., Julian, Jacqueline, Lex, Andre Mcknight, Eric Orozco, Jonathon Cabral, Edward Vargas, Andrew Frick, and Terrell Mosby.Viewing will take place from 2-8 Friday and also from 9:30 to 10:15am Saturday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble. Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Saturday in the Iglesia Apostolica Roca Eterna, with burial to follow in Southlawn Cemetery.
