Frank Horvath

Frank Horvath, 95, passed away at 3:00am Friday, November 4, 2022 in his residence.

Frank was born on September 22, 1927 in Hernadcece, Hungary to Janos and Erzsebet (Anderko) Horvath.  He came to the United States in 1957 and began working for the University of Notre Dame.  He then was employed by Torrington for 25 years as a tool and die maker.  Frank loved the outdoors, especially hunting and gardening, but most of all he loved his grandchildren.

On August 27, 1966 he married Helen “Ilona” Nagy who survives along with two daughters Linda Horvath Huesing and Kathy Horvath and three grandchildren Andrew Huesing, Rachel Huesing, and Nicholas Shrock.   Frank was preceded in death by a sister Piroska Vereb and three brothers Janos Horvath, Pista Horvath, and Joseph Horvath. 

A viewing will take place on Saturday, November 12, 2022 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 S. Kemble Ave South Bend, Indiana from 10-11:30am.  Funeral services will follow at 12:00pm in 1st Presbyterian Church, 333 W.
