Helen (Fuleki) Braun

Helen Braun, age 94 of South Bend, IN passed away on Friday, March 20, 2026 at Memorial Hospital in South Bend, IN. Helen was born on March 16, 1932 in Mohacs Hungary to Joseph and Anna Fuleki. She married John Babocsai in 1950, her second marriage was to Tivador Braun in 1970. He preceded her in death in 1972.

 Helen enjoyed cooking Hungarian specialties, gardening, housekeeping and spending time with family and friends.

Helen is survived by her daughter Ava Wells and Mary Wagers,  sons Joe Babocsai and Frank Berzai; her grandchildren Gabriel Wells, Noel Ullery Spring, Paul Babocsai, Joe Babocsai, Jr., Steve Sigety, Geza Babocsai, Jr., Alexa Arndt, Chris Wagers and Stephanie Wagers. Helen was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Anna Fuleki, husband John Babocsai passed in 1986, husband Tivador Braun passed in1972 , daughter Helen Sigety, sons Geza Babocsai. Ted Braun Jr, and John Babocsai, Jr., grandchildren Jonathon Babocsai and Teddy Braun Jr.

Friends may visit from 4-6 pm on Sunday, March 29, 2024 at Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 South Kemble Ave., South Bend, IN 46613. Funeral services will be at 11am on Monday, March 30, 2026 at the funeral home where visitation will be one hour before funeral services. Burial will follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in South Bend, IN
