Helmut F. Forstinger Jr., 29, passed away Wednesday, February 17, 2021 in his residence.Helmut was born on July 8, 1991 in South Bend to Helmut Forstinger Sr. and Laura Szabo who survive along with a sister Kerry Forstinger, brother, Joseph Lenczewski, nephew Eli Marquez and nieces Makenzie Lenczewski and Kyra Lenczewski. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents Elizabeth and Wilhelm Forstinger and maternal grandparents Darleen and Joseph Lenczewski.Helmut loved hanging out with his friends, helping his dad in the garage, 4 wheeling, hot rodding and ran the circle track at South Bend Motor Speedway. He was always there for everyone. Viewing will be held on Friday, February 26th from 3-8 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Funeral services will be celebrated at 10:00am Saturday, February 27, 2021 in the funeral home. Masks are required and social distancing guidelines will be enforced.
