James Zawierucha

James Zawierucha, 70, passed away at 7:20pm Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Raclin House, Center for Hospice.

James was born on March 1, 1954 in South Bend to Andrew and Helen (Kendziora) Zawierucha.  They preceded him in death along with a sister Mary Jo Zawierucha. 

Surviving are several cousins and many friends at Logan Industries.

James was a participant in the Special Olympics in the bowling and bocce ball.  Jim enjoyed collecting model cars.  His knowledge of cars was remarkable, and he often shared memories of this hobby starting with his dad.

Viewing was held on Wednesday, October 2, 2024 from 12:30pm to 1:30pm in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.   Funeral services followed with Fr. Terry Fisher officiating.   Burial took place in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made to Logan Center, 2505 E. Jefferson Blvd.  South Bend, IN 46615.
