Jelena (Roknich) Suka

Jelena Suka, 93, passed away at 9:30am Sunday, July 4, 2021 at Bell Tower Health & Rehab.

Jelena was born on June 8, 1928 in Chicago, IL to Matthew and Mila Roknich.  They both preceded her in death along with her husband Very Rev. Vladimir Suka, a grandchild a brother Joseph Roknich, and son-in-law Thomas McGuin.

Surviving are a daughter Michelle McGuin of Osceola, two sons Milan (Sheila) Suka of Worthington, OH and Robert (Shelley) Suka of Butner, NC, 8 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and a brother Milan Roknich of Chicago. 

Funeral services will be celebrated at 12:00pm Saturday, July 10, 2021 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  Burial will follow in Southlawn Cemetery.  Family and friends may gather from 11:00am until services in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.  To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at www.zahoran.com or our facebook page Zahoran Funeral Home.
