Joan Novak Obituary

Joan Julie Novak, age 92 of South Bend passed away on March 29, 2020.Joan was born on October 13, 1927 to Simon and Elizabeth (Orisich) Novak. They preceded her in death along with a brother Louis Novak.Surviving are nieces, Andrea Novak Neumann (Bruce) and Monica Novak (Michael Aversa) and sister in law, MaryAnn Novak, along with grandnephew Matthew and grandnieces Laura and Abby and many cousins.Joan graduated from Riley High School and then worked at Uniroyal for 45 years. Joan was active in the Croatian Ladies club, baking kolaches and working at the fish frys. Joan was a beloved aunt who be greatly missed. The family thanks the caring staff at St. Pauls and Burton and Anderson caregivers.Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00am, Monday, August 24, 2020 in Highland Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to University of Minnesota, Louis P.
