Jose S. Ruiz, 64, passed away at 3:40pm Monday, August 24, 2020 in Memorial Hospital.Jose was born on June 16, 1956 in Jalisco, Mexico to Miguel and Juana (Acuna) Ruiz. On February 6, 1993 in Ontario, CA he married the former Guillermina Acuna. She survives along with three daughters Evangelina (Jose Perez) Ruiz, Alma (Savino Trevino) Ruiz and Patricia Ruiz, two sons Jose M. (Artemia) Acuna-Ruiz and Noe (Miriam) Acuna-Ruiz, 9 grandchildren Jose, Alondra, Joanna, Jessica, Andres, Osvaldo, Rosalinda, Tito, and Cassandra, two sisters Carmen and Mercedes and two brothers Lucio and Inocente.Jose was a retired factory worker who had a passion for music and played a variety of instruments including the guitar, bass and toloche..Viewing will take place from 4-8 Friday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Funeral services will be held at 12:00pm Saturday in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery. Viewing is possible through our webcast.
