Obituary
South Bend– Joseph M. Jud, 73, passed away Sunday, April 23, 2023 in his residence.
Joe was born on February 7, 1950 in South Bend to John and June (Homan) Jud. They preceded him in death along with a brother John Jud.
Surviving are his companion Sherry Little, two sons Joseph (Jessica) Jud and Ryan (Jennifer) Jud, 4 grandchildren Shepard, Lilly, Alexa, and Taylor, ex-wife Peggy Jud, sister Joann Smith, and two brothers Jim Jud and Jerry Jud.
Joe was employed by the YWCA and also worked as a softball umpire for many years. He enjoyed Chicago Bears football, Chicago Cubs baseball, Notre Dame football as well as fishing and playing the guitar.
Cremation will take place. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
