Karen L. Horvath, 61, passed away on October 1, 2020 in St. Joseph Regional Med Center.Karen was born on April 30, 1959 in South Bend to Richard and Barbara (Nitka) Horvath. They preceded her in death along with a daughter Amber R. Horvath.Surviving are a son Matthew Horvath, step-son Christopher Thomas, long-time companion James Thomas, two sisters Lee Ann (Rick) Bubp and Nancy (Gene) Fletcher, and a brother Mark (Debby) Horvath. Karen was the owner of Karens Car Care, was an accomplished body builder and model. She also loved animals and gardening.Cremation has taken place. Graveside services will take place at 11:00am Wednesday, October 7, 2020 in St. Joseph Cemetery. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society.
