Kathleen Pajor

Kathleen Pajor, 74, of South Bend, passed away at 11:30 p.m., Wednesday, September 21, 2016, surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer and pneumonia. Kathleen was born on Sept 22, 1941, in Szegi, Hungary to the late Istvan and Margaret (Kerekes) Body. She is survived by one half-sister, Jutka (Body) Fekete; and preceded in death by one half-brother, Jozsef Body. On May 9, 1959, she married Anton Pajor, who survives; along with one daughter, Julianne (Pajor) Smith of Granger and one son, Jeffrey Pajor of Seattle and his wife, Danielle; four grandchildren, Lindsey Smith, Meghan Smith Hardy, Miles Pajor and Tyler Pajor. She is also preceded in death by one son, Anthony Pajor. She will be remembered for her love of small animals, cooking, knitting, her kindness, and her constant love and devotion to her family. She retired from the former Uniroyal after 29 years of service. Visitation will be held from 2:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25, 2016, in Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 South Kemble Avenue, South Bend, IN 46613. A Rosary will be recited at 4:00 p.m., Sunday in the funeral home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, September 26, 2016 at Christ the King Catholic Church, 52473 SR 933 with burial to follow in Highland Cemetery.
