Kimberly J. Horvath, 64, passed away on Tuesday, September 2, 2025.
Kim was born on August 30, 1961, in Valparaiso, IN, to Kenneth Wilson and Mary Myers. She graduated from Riley H.S. and was employed by Transpo as a bus driver.
Kim enjoyed gardening, tinkering with her backyard pond, experimenting in the kitchen with elaborate recipes, grilling, crafting, and enjoying conversations with friends on her patio over a glass of wine or 'Not Your Father's Root Beer'. Above all, she enjoyed spending time with her family and the friends she called family.
Surviving are a daughter, Becky (Andrew) McIntyre, a son, Daniel (Sally) Horvath, three grandsons, Maddox, Bennett, and Hendrik, her long-time partner, Jim Moon, and his dad, Bill Moon.
Per Kim’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 12, 2025, at MR Falcons from 12-4 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Heartland Small Animal Rescue, Center for Hospice Care, or Prevent Cancer Foundation.
