Linda (Porogi) Turczynski

South Bend – Linda Turczynski, 79, passed away at 8:10am Thursday, October 6, 2022 in Woodlawn Terrace at Longmeadow.

Linda was born on October 13, 1942 in South Bend to Alex and Helen (Madar) Porogi.  On May 19, 1962 she married Eugene Turczynski.  He died on March 23, 2013.  Linda retired in 2010 from the South Bend Clinic where she was employed for 20 years.  She enjoyed cooking, baking, traveling and going to the casino and was a member of the Grandparents Club at Holy Family.

Surviving are two daughters Colleen (Scott) Peregrine and Jill (Richard) Kabzinski, two sons Eugene (Syndi) Turczynski and Alan (Mary) Turczynski, 16 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren. 

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Tuesday, October 11, 2022          in Holy Family Church.  Entombment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery.  Viewing will take place from 4-8 Monday in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  To leave an online condolence, visit our website http://www.zahoran.com or our facebook page Zahoran Funeral Home.
