M. Arlene (Gregory) Fabyan

M. Arlene Fabyan passed away Monday, September 25, 2023 in her residence.

Arlene was born on January 28, 1932 in Disko, Indiana to Harry and Rose (Moore) Gregory.  She was the owner of The Avenue Beauty Salon (Mishawaka Av & 27th St) since 1957.  Arlene loved being a Grandma, gardening, playing games with family and playing the organ.  On July 1, 1972 she married A. Bill Fabyan.  He died on June 11, 2018.  Arlene was also preceded in death by a daughter Starlene Wheeler, a brother Dean Gregory and a great-granddaughter.

Surviving are two sons Jim Spencer and Richard Spencer, 10 grandchildren Christine, James, Michele, Angela, Trisha, Amber, Adam, Michael, Joshua, and Aaron, 22 great-grandchildren, 6 great-great-grandchildren and a sister Nila (John) Wise.

Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Monday, October 2, 2023 in Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.  Visitation will take place from 2-6 Sunday in the funeral home.  Memorial contributions may be made to the Center for Hospice.   To leave an online condolence visit our website www.zahoran.com.
