Marcus D. Harrison Sr.

Marcus D. Harrison Sr., 43, passed away Monday, April 28, 2025 in the Center for Hospice, surrounded by his family.

Marcus was born on July 21, 1981 in South Bend, Indiana to Jesse and Lillian (Taylor) Harrison Sr.  He was employed by Performance Plus and worked at South Bend Regional Airport.  Marcus had a calm, presence and was very kind, and helpful to others. Marcus loved to barbeque on the grill, going to the casino, working on puzzles word searches, enjoyed painting, working on cars, fireworks, traveling, but most of all enjoyed spending time with his significant other, friends, and family.

Surviving are his mother Lillian Taylor, daughter Amyia Harrison, son Marcus Harrison Jr., ex-wife Grace Moyo, girlfriend Tracy Jaronik, five sisters Mary Taylor-Kapeni, Jacquies Harrison, Ashley Harrison, Lakeisha Harrison and Felicia Harrison and a brother Jesse Harrison Jr.

Cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will take place from 11am – 2pm on Saturday, May 10, 2025 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  Services will begin at 12:00pm.
