Marianne Seach-Kirby, 85, passed away Wednesday, July 26, 2023 in her residence.
Marianne was born on February 2, 1938 in South Bend to Stephen and Cecelia (Mikula) Danielowicz. They preceded her in death along with a son Richard “Ricky” Seach Jr., 7 sisters Virginia Harsanyi, Harriet Ruszkowski, Lucille Yanez, Cecelia Andert, Phyllis Forsberg, Clara Prentkowski, and Delores Foss and 3 brothers Stephen Danielowicz, Eugene Danielowicz, and Adrian Danielowicz.
Surviving are her husband of 25 years Gene Kirby, two daughters Deborah (Terry) Pogotis and Brenda (Ken) Talboom, 9 grandchildren Cassandra Seach, Sean Armour, Dallas Stefan, Richard Seach III, Michelle (Nicholas) Standfield, Brittany (Chase) Gervais, Marenda (Michael) O’Hara, Vendetta Patterson, and Patric Patterson, 10 great-grandchildren Kassandra, Kameron, Avery, Marissa, Anya, Ariston, Kyrin, Nova, Brooklynn and Sophie, and two great-great-grandchildren Emelia and Theodore.
Marianne was the St. Joseph County Recorder, was a member of the Democratic Club, the Garden Club and American Legion Auxiliary Post 50.
A gathering for the Celebration of her life will be held from 5-7 Tuesday, August 1, 2023 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans.
