Nancy D. Andert born December 27, 1956, passed away January 10, 2025 peacefully in her home while in the loving care of her beloved granddaughter Teagon.
Nancy lived a life dedicated to her family and those they loved. She was always the nurturer and rock of the entire family. She loved with no bounds and would sacrifice herself to help anyone any time. Nancy played a key role in raising her two younger siblings, Anne and Charles. She worked hard to make their lives as good and stabile as she could.
Nancy met her soul mate, Kevin Andert at only 14 in September of 1971. They married October 8, 1977. Their lives together kept on Nancy’s drive and love to serve family. She taught Kevin what the word “family” really means. Nancy’s love and kindness touched countless people over her 68 years on Earth, but none more than her children and grandchildren. She lived and breathed for them. Nancy and Kevin had three children Kevin, Kristine and Kari, who then gave them their pride and joy, Kerri, Casey Jo, Kylie, Bowen, Kelsi, Colin, Teagon, Aralyn, Kensleigh, and Jackson. Nancy’s only regret before going to heaven was not being able to be here to love on her great-grandchildren. Nothing brought her more joy than being surrounded by the love and laughter of children.
Nancy was part of a very large family and made sure to know each and every one of them. She loved her siblings, Carol, James, Melvin, Anne, and Charles, and loved all her nieces and nephews like they were her own children. Nancy was an aunt to 60.
Nancy spread her love and guidance to each and every one all the way to the end. She was the strongest woman any one of us had ever met. If she believed “it’s only logical”, she would stubbornly express it was until it was heard. She would whole heartedly try to protect others from themselves and would not relent. She so proudly has passed these traits on to her daughter Kristine. Nancy wants her family to always remain close, to be there for each other every day, not just special occasions. Nancy’s last wish is that the voids and pain her family is facing, or will face, that they can find grace and forgiveness and remain as close as she always strived for them to be or even closer. To Nancy, nothing on this Earth is more important than a close, loving, supportive family
Nancy’s family knows she is happy in heaven surrounded by loved ones who beat her there. Nancy believed that our lives on Earth is hell and to know she is free of it brings her close family some peace through all the pain.
