Pamela S. (Wynn) Stokes

Pamela S. Stokes, 70, passed away at 10:55pm on Friday, April 8, 2022 in Memorial Hospital.  

Pamela was born on October 4, 1951, in South Bend to William and Shirley (Bourdon) Wynn, who preceded her in death.  She graduated from Riley High School in 1970, and retired from Kroger's where she was employed for over 30 years.

Surviving are two daughters, Stefanie (Todd) Coleman and Cicely Stokes; six grandchildren: Christopher Stokes, Kylie Davis, Camille Coleman, Klayton Coleman, Benjamin Turner, and Greer Doody; twelve great-grandchildren: Isaiah Jones, Jaxon Davis, Tyler Jones, Charlotte Jones, Peighton Jones, Liam Fuller, Alina Stokes, Brynnlee Stokes, Rylan Seagears, Zali Turner, Caselynn Turner, and Traysun Turner; two younger brothers, David Wynn and Eric Wynn; and three lifelong friends, Alison Taplin, Milica Taylor, and Raphael Stokes, and a host of other friends and family members.

Pam will be remembered for her big heart and beautiful soul.  She was an avid sports fan, especially fond of IU Basketball and Notre Dame football.  She cherished her two loving daughters as well as her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Family was important to Pam, and they will treasure her life and the memories they hold dear to their hearts.

Cremation has taken place.  Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.  A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, April 23rd, from 2-5pm at Majestic on the River, 121 S.
