Patrick J. Vertesich

Patrick J. Vertesich, 87, passed away on Wednesday April 15, 2026.

Patrick was born on March 13, 1939, in South Bend, Indiana to Paul and Dorothy (Torzewski) Vertesich. His parents both preceded him in death along with a brother-in-law Glenn Sebastian.

He is survived by his sister Darlene Sebastian, his four nieces Leanne (Paul) Oberkirch, Amanda (Rick) Johnson, Megan (Jason) Sparks, and Emily (Matt) Lomax. Patrick is also survived by nine great nieces and nephews as well as by his first great-great niece which is on the way.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday, May 1, 2026 in Our Lady of Hungary Catholic Church.  Visitation will take place for 1 hour prior to the services in the church.  Burial will follow in Highland Cemetery.  To leave an online condolence, please visit www.zahoran.com.
