Robert W. Bishop Sr. 83, passed away Thursday, November 29, 2025 in his residence.
Bob was born on March 20, 1942 in Coraopolis, PA to Ralph and Ruth (MacGregor) Bishop. He was a Viet Nam Marine veteran who received the Purple Heart. Robert retired from Associates and was an avid reader.
On August 19, 1960 he married the former Emma Jean Scharff who survives along with two daughters Paula (Ed) Jerzak and Diane (Steve) Fisher, a son Alex Bishop, 11 grandchildren Michael, Elizabeth, Kira, Stephanie, Zachary, Lori, Josh, Jessica, Max, Sam and Gabriella, 9 great-grandchildren Madison, Alena, Dalylah, Ace, Addison, Robert, Lillian, Daisy, and Michael, and two sisters Beverly Hensley and Roberta Pollard
Bob was preceded in death by a son Robert Bishop Jr. and a brother Ralph Bishop.
Cremation has taken place. A gathering of family and friends will take place from 10am-12pm Saturday, December 13, 2025 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue. Military services will take place at 12:00pm.
