Robert Fouts

Robert Fouts, 83, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2025 in the Brickyard Nursing Center, Mishawaka.

Robert was born on October 2, 1942 in Mishawaka to Clifford and Elizabeth (Patus) Fouts Sr.  They preceded him in death along with two brothers Clifford Fouts Jr. and Thomas Fouts and a sister Doreen Kalb.  Surviving is his son David Fouts.

Robert worked for General Motors for 22 ½ years, where he was known as the animal whisperer.  He loved volunteering at Camp Raybird and was the kindest, gentlest individual.  Robert also proudly served in the United States Navy. 

Cremation has taken place.  A gathering of family and friends will take place from 2-4pm Tuesday, November 25, 2025 in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  Military services will take place at 4:00pm  Memorial contributions may be made to Camp Raybird.
