Roy Vera Obituary

Roy Vera, 62, passed away on February 8, 2021 in his residence.Roy was born on January 19, 1959 in San Antonio, TX to Felipe and Frances (Roque) Vera. He was employed by Irish Hills Apartments. He enjoyed the outdoors, gardening, fishing and camping. Roy was an avid Dallas Cowboys and Notre Dame football fan.Surviving are his son Justin Vera, sisters Lucy (Tony) Cruz, Martha V. Cruz, Mary Perez, and Corina Roque-Perez and brothers Frank (Ann) Vera, Robert (Martha) Vera and Felipe (Rhonda) Vera. Numerous nieces and nephews who all will miss him dearly.There will be no services. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Cremation has taken place. Memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to defray funeral expenses. Zahoran Funeral Home has been entrusted with arrangements.
