SOUTH BEND – Sharon Lea Howse, 84 passed away on Monday, August 21, 2023.
She was born on July 22, 1939 in Kansas City, MO to Roy and Roxiena (Sullard) Cook. They preceded her in death along with a son David P. Howse and a sister Joan Lepker and two brothers John Cook and William Cook.
On December 24, 1960 in El Cajon, CA she married Norman D. Howse. He died on August 2, 2023. Survivng are a daughter Marlene (Dan) Lowe Jr., a daughter-in-law Kathy Howse, 6 grandchildren Micheal (Katrina), Whitney, Christi-Ana (Thomas), Brieanna (Dr. Kevin), Dr. Katrina (Brian), and Benjamin, 9 great-grandchildren Seth, Sophie, Everly, Hadleigh, Christopher, Damien, Zaelyn, Izabella, and Baby Girl Lowe due in September.
Sharon worked in the banking industry, Christian Center Bookstore Manager, and as a school crossing guard for the South Bend Police Dept. She loved people, sewing and praying for others.
The Celebration of her life will be at 1:00pm Friday August 25, 2023 at Christian Center Church, 530 E. Ireland Road.
