Stella Ann (Pellow) Dawson

Stella Ann Dawson, 75, passed away at 11:08pm Thursday, March 19, 2026 in Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.

Stella was born on July 9, 1950 in South Bend to Harvey and Evelyn (Wiler) Pellow Sr.  They preceded her in death along with a sister Donna Brittain and a brother Harvey Pellow Jr.

Surviving are her daughter Chawn (Warren) Cornell, two grandchildren Brittney Cornell and Jacob (Jenna) Cornell, three great-grandchildren, her brother-in-law Dean Brittain, her nephew Tracey Brittain, her long-distance love John Wolff and her four dogs Rosie, Venus, Smokey, and Ivy.

Stella was employed for over 30 years by Aramark Uniforms and for 5 years by Healthwin Specialized Care.  She was a die-hard casino goer, along with her mom and sister, but her greatest joy was her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place.  No services are scheduled at this time.
