Steve Hinora Sr., 90 passed away at 4:00pm Friday, August 18, 2023 in his residence, surrounded by his family.
Steve was born on August 12, 1933 in Gyor, Hungary to Adolf and Anna (Mayer) Hinora. They preceded him in death along with two brothers and a sister. On September 17, 1955 in Sopron, Hungary Steve married the former Pearl Koloszar who survives along with a daughter Mary Ann Hinora, a son Steve (Judy) Hinora Jr.. 4 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Steve was employed by Schafer Gear Works, was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church and its Prayer Group, he loved fishing, feeding the birds, but most of all he loved his family
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00am Wednesday, August 23, 2023 in St. Jude Catholic Church. Visitation will take place from 10:00am until services at the church, with a rosary being recited at 10:15am. Burial will follow be in Highland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Catholic Church, Heartland / Promedica Hospice, Association of Marian Helpers, Mercy Home for Boys and Girls, or Priests of the Sacred Heart.
