Tibor Folding

Tibor Folding, 87, passed away Friday, November 14, 2025 in the Sanctuary at Holy Cross, surrounded by his family.

Tibor was born on May 8, 1938 in Budapest, Hungary and moved to the United States during the Hungarian Revolution.  He was an electrical engineer who founded the Communication Company.  Tibor enjoyed building Radio Controlled Planes and was a member of RC Clubs.

On October 19, 1962 in South Bend he married the former Margareth Ratkay.  She died on July 24, 2022.  He was also preceded in death by two daughters Judith Ortega and Erika Folding and a son Thomas Folding.

Surviving are two daughters Lisa (Bruce) Huntington and Agnes Schleiger, three sons Les Toth, Steven (Carol) Toth, and Tibor John Folding , as well as numerous loving grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

A visitation will take place Thursday, November 20, 2025 from 5-7pm in the Zahoran Funeral Home, 1826 Kemble Avenue.  Funeral services will be celebrated at 11:00am Friday in the funeral home.  Cremation will follow.  To leave an online condolence, please visit our website at www.zahoran.com.
